As a creative, it's almost a requirement to love Halloween. As an October baby, it was inevitable. When tasked with creating the look and feel for Halloween 2021, my first thought was "what if the monsters wanted to show off their faves?" Thus, the Scary Good Halloween campaign rose up like a zombie in a George Romero film.
One of the biggest challenges with this project, was figuring out how to do everything practically. All of the smoke, make up, lighting, and effects, were done on set (some comping done in post, but the actual assets utilized were captured on set).
We once again partnered with our friends over at Valo Media to bring some life these undead beasties - and ultimately ended up winning a Silver Award at the Addy Awards for our efforts!
